Kiwana Rose

Kiwana Rose is a screenwriter, director, and producer from Georgia. She graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and spent 16 years as an HR and business professional prior to shifting careers in 2020. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic Rose served as producer of the video podcast StoryTime with Julian where several of her short stories were featured.   She has since written several screenplays, including the award-winning script for the short film, “Generation Service,” which is in pre-production (RoxVision.com).

In 2022, Ms. Rose worked as a writer and producer on the pilot for the reality tv show, “Everyone Needs A Lil’ Sunshine,” and is the Producer, Writer and Assistant Director on the documentary “Singlefoot.” Kiwana Rose is currently a Class of 2023 Mentee in Sophia Chang’s Unlock Her Potential mentor program.
